  18. In the event of a Dead Heat, returns will be offered at a reduced rate. (Dead Heat Rule)
  19. For the purposes of the Dead Heat Rule, the "reduced rate" is calculated by dividing the total payout value by the number of runners in the Dead Heat. For example, where a $1 bet is placed on a runner to win at odds of $10, where the runner is involved in a Dead Heat for first place with another runner, the total payout will be $5.
  20. Where a race meeting is transferred to a different race course, all bets will stand.
  21. Where a race meeting is cancelled due to bad weather or otherwise, all bets will be cancelled and refunded.

    2. Where we reasonable suspect that there has been any pool manipulation that may influence the payout odds on an Australian totalisator, we reserve the right to limit the maximum payout of a successful bet on a tote odds market to $1000.00 AUD.
  37. Best of the best
    1. Bets offered on best of the best markets are bets paid out at the highest price of either the Top Fluc or Best Tote, whichever is higher.
  38. Flexi Bets
    1. Flexi Bets are bets offered at a reduced price in return for a reduction in payout percentage.

    3. Flexi bets are available on Trifecta, First 4, Quadrella or any other Exotics bet type as determined by Favourit from time to time.
    4. The amount paid out on a Flexi Bet is calculated by dividing the value of the payout by the same percentage that the price of the bet was reduced for a $1 bet. Winning bets are paid out at the initial percentage of the initial cost of the bet multiplied by the dividend offered.
  39. Multis
    1. For Multi bets on racing events, if any leg is void, the payout value of the bet will be recalculated to exclude the voided leg.
    2. The maximum payout on a multi bet is $100,000.00 AUD.
    3. Multi bets will not be accepted where the outcome of one leg of the bet contributes to the outcome of another leg of the bet (Related Contingency).
  40. Favourit reserves the right to cancel bets if Favourit reasonably suspects that tote-based dividends have been manipulated.
  41. If we don’t cancel your bet we reserve the right to apply a payout limit on the bet that does not exceed the dividend declared by Super TAB. If this rule is waived at the discretion of Favourit, this is not a precedent in relation to future payouts.
  42. The following rules apply to all bets placed on sporting events, except where superseded by rules specific to each sport as outlined below.
  43. For all sports events, the event must run to the conclusion of the designated time period in order to be considered complete for the purposes of determining a contingency which depends on the outcome of the event.
  44. Where a match is called off or postponed while in progress, bets will be settled on the official outcome of the event as declared by the relevant sports' controlling body.
  45. All bets on sporting events are made on an "All In" basis. Any bet made on a competitor or team where there is a withdrawal, disqualification or other event with prevents the competitor or team from competing in the event, or competing for the duration of the event, all bets shall stand and no refund is payable for any bets placed.
  46. Overtime or extra time will count toward the final result of the match except as specified by rules specific to each sport, as outlined below.
  47. In the event of a draw between competitors in a sporting event, excluding where bets were offered on a "draw" contingency, the total payout value will be divisible by the number of competitors between whom the event was drawn or tied.
  48. Where an event is postponed and rescheduled to take place within 48 hours, all wagers will stand.
  49. Where an event is rescheduled for a time more than 48 hours after the event was originally scheduled to commence, all wagers will be void and refunded.
  50. Where an event is abandoned after it has commenced, all bets are void except those on contingencies which have already resulted during the abandoned event.
  51. Jockey Challenge
    1. Betting on the Jockey Challenge is Win Only.
    2. The "Any other individual jockey" option shall be defined as the points earned by any one individual jockey riding at that meeting outside of the jockeys already nominated in the list of betting options for that meeting.
    3. In the case of two or more jockeys finishing the day on the same amount of points the Dead Heat Rule applies. This is regardless of the amount of outright winners ridden by either of these jockeys.
    4. If any individual jockey in the market does not complete at least one (1) ride for the meeting, all wagers on the Jockey Challenge for that meeting will be cancelled and monies refunded. For this clause, the term "complete" will be defined as having started in a race, not finishing a race (e.g. if that jockey falls off mid-race it will still be considered that he has completed a race)
    5. If the meeting is postponed or abandoned at any stage, all wagers on the Jockey Challenge for that meeting will be cancelled and monies refunded regardless of standings at the time.
  52. Australian Rules Football
    1. Payouts are based on the official declared result, but conditions may apply to specific betting options (e.g. end of normal time, including extra time - an extension of normal time - etc.).
    2. Where a match is abandoned or postponed, and played within seven days of the original scheduled date, all wagers stand. Once the seven days have expired, all single wagers are void and wagers refunded. Affected multiple wagers will be recalculated excluding that leg.
    3. When the Draw option is offered, the wager is decided on the result at the end of normal time (i.e. extra time - an extension of normal time - not included). For Margin Betting the Draw option is always offered. When the Draw option is not offered, The Dead Heat Rule applies.
    4. For match winners, player disposals, match ups, and most goals markets, all players must be in the starting line up for wagers to stand unless otherwise specified. The statistics used by the AFL website (www.afl.com.au) will be the statistics used for payout purposes.
    5. For first goal scorer markets, players listed in the market but not in starting line up are subject to a refund. The statistics used by the AFL website (www.afl.com.au) will be the statistics used for payout purposes.
    6. For leading Victorian or Interstate side:
      1. When determining the leading Victorian or Interstate side for the season, the official AFL ladder standings will be used.
      2. Using the round 22 ladder ranking, clubs eliminated in week one of the finals will be ranked seventh and eighth.
      3. Those eliminated in week two of the finals will be ranked fifth and sixth.
      4. The losers of the preliminary finals will finish third and fourth.
      5. The AFL ranking system will determine which of the two teams eliminated on the same weekend will be ranked higher.
      6. If two teams are knocked out on the same weekend, the AFL rankings will determine the winner.
  53. Baseball
    1. Games are official after five innings of play. If the home team is leading, the game is official after four and half innings of play. If a game goes past five innings (including any extra innings) and is subsequently called off, suspended or postponed beyond either teams next scheduled game, the winner is determined by the score after the last full innings of play (except in the case when the home team score to tie, or take the lead in the bottom half of the innings in which the game is called off - the runs do count).
    2. For run line and margin betting, the game is official after 9 innings if the visitor team is winning and after 8.5 innings if the home team is winning.
    3.
    4. For run totals the game is official after 9 innings (8.5 innings if home team is winning) with the exception that at any time the run total is exceeded the wager is official
    5. Should either of the nominated pitchers withdraw before throwing a pitch, all single wagers are void and wagers refunded while affected multiple wagers will be recalculated excluding that leg.
  54. Basketball
    1. Payouts will be based on the official final score, extra time (an extension of normal time) included, unless otherwise specified.
    2. Games are official after 43 minutes of play (NBA and NBL), 35 minutes of play (NCAA) and at the end of normal time (all other competitions).
    3. In handicap and totals betting, where the line or total is a flat number, if the score lands on the line or total, all wagers are void and wagers refunded. Affected multiple wagers (parlays) will be recalculated excluding that leg.
    4. If a game is abandoned, postponed to another date, or fails to meet the above criteria, single wagers are void and refunded. Multiple wagers (parlays) will be recalculated excluding that leg.
  55. Boxing
    1. Where a match is abandoned or postponed, but fought within 14 days of the original scheduled date, all wagers stand. Once the 14 days have expired, all single wagers are void and wagers refunded. Affected multiple wagers will be recalculated excluding that leg.
    2. All wagers on either boxer to win will be decided by the judges decision, which includes points, technical knockout (TKO), knockout (KO) or disqualification.
    3. If a price is offered for the draw, in the event of a draw all wagers on either boxer to win will be losers. If there is a "technical draw" determined by the referee due to an accidental cut etc then the bout is deemed a "no contest" and all wagers are to be refunded.
    4. In round-by-round betting, if a boxer fails to answer the bell, the fight will be deemed to have ended in the previous round.
    5. For all wagers on a boxer to win on points, the full scheduled number of rounds must take place for the wagers to be deemed winners.
    6. If the scheduled number of rounds is changed all "pick the round" wagers are void and wagers refunded.
    7. The official stopping of a round before the sounding of the bell does not constitute a full round. A full round is only considered for wagering purposes to have been completed when the bell sounds signifying the end of the round.
  56. Cricket
    1. Limited overs (including one-day internationals):
      1. In one-day matches, shortened by weather, the outcome will be that determined by the competition rules. If the match is declared a ''no-result'' all single wagers are void and wagers refunded. Affected multiple wagers will be recalculated excluding that leg. However, all decided bets, such as high bat, individual match ups and next man out, will stand.
      2. For batting or bowling match-ups, both batsmen must reach the crease or both bowlers must bowl one ball for wagers to stand. Otherwise all wagers are void and wagers refunded. Affected multiple wagers will be recalculated excluding that leg.
      3. If a match is transferred to a reserve day, all wagers accepted prior to the toss of the original game will carry over. All wagers accepted after that time are void and wagers refunded. Affected multiple wagers will be recalculated excluding that leg.
      4.
